Both instructional books How to Draw Advanced NeoPopRealism Ink Images, ISBN: 978-0615569758 and NeoWhimsies: NeoPopRealism Ink Drawing Basics for Mannequins, ISBN: 978-0615651859 are well done. They are fantastic and I always have them here, in my office-gallery... The books’ design and approach to teaching are great, easy to understand and to follow. Both help student learn and do the drawing very well. I am sure everyone will love these books.

Review. NeoPopRealism children's lesson with a book "How to Draw Without Eraser", Francine Douaihy, Marywood University

Marywood University.
Instructor: Francine Douaihy.
Neopoprealism children's lesson went very well... The students and I decided that not using an eraser does take enormous pressure of the child about making a "mistake". I call them happy accidents. One student said that she liked how Nadia Russ first blocked out the paper into linear sections before drawing the designs. Also, showing a sample and having a written story behind the picture's motivation helped the students proceed easily with the project.
[NeoPopRealism lesson was included in] ART LESSON “DRAWING TO MUSIC”
OBJECTIVE- TO HAVE CHILDREN EXPERIENCE THIS WIN-WIN PROJECT-THE SENSORY EXPERIENCE OF HEARING MUSIC AND “FEELING THE MUSIC” , DRAWING WHAT THEY FEEL THIS PARTICULAR MUSIC MIGHT LOOK LIKE! RELIEVES FEAR, STRESS, IS CONFIDENCE BUILDING AND FUN! MATERIALS- LARGE WHITE MURAL PAPER, OLD NEWSPAPERS OR SMALLER DRAWING SHEETS...
ADAPTATIONS...
……
THIS LESSON INCORPORATE NEOPOPREALISM DESIGN AS AN INTRODUCTION.
THE BOOK “HOW TO DRAW WITHOUT ERASER: A CHILDREN’S GUIDE TO THE WORLD OF NEOPOPREALISM” BY PRE-EMINENT CONTEMPORARY RUSSIAN-BORN ARTIST NADIA RUSS.
HER NEW ART STYLE IS [ALSO] PERFECT FOR THE SPECIAL NEEDS STUDENTS
BECAUSE DRAWING WITHOUT AN ERASER ELIMINATES FEAR, ANXIETY AND BUILDS SELF-ESTEEM AND A STUDENT THAT IS HAPPIER WITH THE ART PROCESS AS WELL AS THE PRODUCT.
NEOPOPREALISM’S 10 CANONS FOR BETTER AND HAPPY LIVING-
1.BE BEAUTIFUL.(EVERYONE IS BEAUTIFUL IN SOME WAY)
2.BE CREATIVE AND PRODUCTIVE; NEVER STOP STUDYING AND LEARNING.
3.BE PEACE-LOVING, POSITIVE-MINDED. . .
etc.
WHAT BETTER WAY TO RE-INFORCE THE GOALS OF MUSIC THERAPY AND MUSIC AND ART IN GENERAL!
