Neopoprealism children's lesson went very well... The students and I decided that not using an eraser does take enormous pressure of the child about making a "mistake". I call them happy accidents. One student said that she liked how Nadia Russ first blocked out the paper into linear sections before drawing the designs. Also, showing a sample and having a written story behind the picture's motivation helped the students proceed easily with the project.

Reviewing "How to Draw Without Eraser: Children's Guide to the World of NeoPopRealism", ISBN: 9780615521824

I found that the language of "How to Draw Without Eraser: Children's Guide to the World of NeoPopRealism" is age appropriate for my students K-5. I would use this more with my 3-5th graders though. I love the simplicity of the line and how the line has been manipulated to give pattern and design to a drawing.

I read a book "How to Draw the NeoPopRealism abstract: Children's Guide" with pleasure. I like the structure of the book and its layout. It is divided into chapters and is designed to engage young children and keep them focused on learning step-by-step how to draw the ink images. Author had a few essential goals in writing of this book. One, she wanted to be comprehensive; second, she wanted to provide students/teachers with practical strategies on how to draw NeoPopRealism abstract; third, she wanted to offer what children need to know as they prepare to move on with the next phase in their learning process. When you have chance to skip this book, you will note how much information included there, with visual easy-to-learn/teach instructions. This book is your one-stop illustrated source for everything child need to know about how to draw the NeoPopRealism abstract. This book is available as eBook and in print; the print copy offers special pages for training where children can draw, following easy-to-follow instructions. It is a great book for developing children's creativity.

A book "How to Draw the NeoPopRealism Abstract: Childtern's Guide", ISBN: 9780615545332 review

It is a fantastic book for developing children's creativity as well as the eye-hand-brain connection! The intro is easy for young children to read and comprehend. I liked the font used for the table of contents as well as the explanation of how and why Nadia Russ created the art style NeoPopRealim. I also liked the step by step guide for creating in the NeoPopRealism style. I would definitely buy this book as a resource book in my artroom. Most importantly, The NeoPopRealism style is for every kind of young art student. I think it can help foster confidence in the art experience for the insecure, fearful of making a mistake student as well as the special needs student! I am a part time professor at Marywood University in the art education dept. and I am going to put this book in my syllabus and will also present NeoPopRealism philosophy, how, why and when it was created and have my student teachers do a lesson on its technique. Truly an excellent, informative, creative and FUN way of creating art!

A series of teaching books How-To draw NeoPopRealism review

I have here a series of recently published books by Nadia Russ on teaching / learning the ink pen drawing technique: “How to Draw Without Eraser: Children’s Guide to the World of NeoPopRealism”, “How to Draw NeoPopRealism Ink Images: Basics” and “How to Draw NeoPopRealism Abstract Images: Ink Backgrounds”. I examined these books, they are well done, I love them! The books’ designs and teaching method are fantastic. Approach to teaching is wonderful, step-by-step, easy to understand and to follow, all in line. It is new art style and new, unusual teaching method, and it helps person to learn and do the drawing very well. I am sure everyone will love these books, everyone will love to teach and to learn visual arts using these books. As an artist myself and art teacher with more than 40 years of experience, I approve and recommend them for teaching/ learning!
